Dear Families,
I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! Before the break, we had a great time running through the neighborhood during our Turkey Trot. Thank you to parents who were able to run with the class, help guide the class along the path, or simply cheer the class on at the end! Check out some photos below!
In Kindergarten, we work on writing every day during one of our ELA (English Language Arts) blocks called Writing Workshop. We recently launched our Small Moments writing unit. We are learning that Small Moments are personal narratives, or true stories, that tell about a small part of a day, stretched out across many pages. Thank you to parents who signed up to make writing booklets for us (and you can feel free to send them in whenever they are ready!) You can help your child brainstorm ideas for their Small Moment stories when they experience something funny or interesting in their lives that would be fun to write about!
Thanks to Brad's Mom and Ansel's Mom for reading aloud to our class!
Please note that next Wednesday, 12/6/23, is an early release day, with the school day ending at 1:00.
